Daily emails from link person updating us how daughters wellbeing positive and challenges is great especially as we ant visit every day. Access to sensory room Access to own room when needs space/time away Individualised - some things have taken abit longer to implement than I would have liked but on a whole we have felt listened to and they are always trying to find ways to adapt and help daughter. OT and SALT have been so valuable for daughter.

Originally kept family ambassador from 1st unit as was told one wasn't at Meadow. Then got allocated someone different who was linked to Highfield and LDAH team, but now LDAH team not keeping daughter on. Unsure who exactly is family ambassador specifically for Meadow but last lady is kindly keeping us on. Sometimes joint meetings with me and husband are requested which is always difficult as husband is full time plus visiting daughter. Maybe some later evening appts would help. Staff are generally flexible but it has been tricky and a lot of juggling at times to attend. Online meetings are definitely appreciated and help as we are not local. Staff to ensure they call when there have been significant changes in presentation or things that have happened. I always say my phone is on 24/7 yet a few things have happened that we haven't been called about. There are some things that parents shouldn't be reading about first hand in a daily update when they are at work. Staff are all so friendly, calm, welcoming and work really hard. Definitely seeing some positive changes in daughter. Being able to email staff definitely helps communication.

I cannot thank the staff enough for making me feel safe, understood and respected.

Food needs addressing. Better education on medications, for nurses and patients.
